The Smoketree Swim and Recreation Club Board is made up entirely of volunteers. They are the engine of SSRC, working behind the scenes to look out for the neighborhood’s safety, maintain the facilities, foster a sense of connection among neighbors, and make Smoketree a beautiful place to live!

 

 President — Jayne Rauser

Jayne will be using her leadership skills and business acumen as President of SSRC.  Prior to her new role as President, she has volunteered as Secretary and Treasurer. 

In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and traveling.  Jayne and Betsy live with their lab mix dog, Mercy.

Secretary — Kelsi T.

Born in Atlanta and raised in Norcross, Kelsi joined the neighborhood in 2023 and is excited to serve as the Secretary of the Board for the 2024-2025 season. She lives with her husband and their playful mini poodle,Woodward, and enjoys exploring Smoketree and the surrounding neighborhoods on long walks. Passionate about building community, she looks forward to connecting with neighbors and contributing to the area’s growth. When the weather is warm, you can find her practicing pickleball on the tennis courts

Member At Large — Frank Badia

Frank moved into the Smoketree Subdivision in 2019. He is very motivated to meet his neighbors and become part of the community. He decided to become part of the SSRC board with the intent to bring our community closer together.

Member At Large — Rosalie Townsend

Born in Okinawa, Japan, Rosalie has lived in Smoketree for over 33 years! She raised 4 beautiful children here and now have 4 spouses plus 7 grandchildren who all live far away but love to come use SSRC’s pool and playground! Rosalie loves our community and has so many great memories: ice cream/pool parties, yes even square dances, movie nights on the lawn, Smoketree Olympics with a race around the community, so many Halloween parties, and kids playing in the creek.
She’s happy to help us continue to be a Smoketree family.
